Good Films
Nicolas Winding Refn is a new favorite director of mine. I saw Drive first and then Bronson. I immediately thought the films had a common thread before I looked up the director. The Music, lighting, and cinematography tie together in an unusual way. The manner in which Refn describes main characters is thorough and thought provoking. I found myself trying to relate to characters that are bizarre yet human. I don't usually feel obligated to connect or relate with characters who perform such outrageous acts but Refn brings there human side to the surface in both light and dark ways which allures me.
