Jocelyn Allen is a Photographer from the UK, her series of photographs called, "One is not like the Other,"  is about her family.  The series depicts her wearing other family members clothes to reference their differences through similarity.  I think the simplicity of the work is quite clever.  It is relatively straight forward photography work.  In this particular example Allen is juxtaposed with her grandfather which reveals some slight physical similarities, such as facial features.  For the most part, they do not look alike. By having the exact same camera position which provides the same background is one of the selling point for me.  I also like that she takes the extra time to put on the same close as her previous sitter, this alone gives the feeling that something is not right here.  Some of the other images, which include her sisters doesn't have the same effect that I get from the clothes  in this piece, but the overall theme caries through.
